Kit Kat Thailand Will Introduce a Limited-Edition Durian Flavor
The country has also pitched two other exclusive flavors.

Thailand is aiming to have its own limited edition Kit Kat, coming in durian flavor – the country’s national fruit and a distinctly acquired taste that you will either love or hate. The flavor was decided by Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, the minister of Tourism and Sports in the country. Aside from durian, they are also pitching mangosteen and tamarind flavors as they are all synonymous with the country.
The idea, influenced by the Sushi Kit Kats Japan has, is being pitched to Nestlé, with Wattanavrangkul saying “Nestle’s marketing team will discuss with the company whether it’s possible to produce these Kit Kats because there are other factors to be considered as well” in an interview with Thailand’s Daily News. It’s not in production yet, but Thailand may soon be catching up to Japan when it comes to limited-edition snacks.
