YouTube channel Business Casual recently released a video chronicling Sony’s innovative rise to the height of technology. Starting off as a small Japanese electronics company established shortly after World War II, Sony is now one of the best-known names in consumer electronics. Although Sony is mostly known for its revolutionary Walkman and PlayStation console series, the brand’s innovative ethos also gave birth to the early transistor radio, the Trinitron television, the Betamax VCR and the CD player. Additionally, Sony has used its success to branch into the entertainment business over the years launching Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Digital Production, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Television.
