Is Apple Bringing Back the PowerBook?
A new trademark suggests a brand new line of Apple notebooks may be on the way.

Not only is the Cupertino tech giant launching a revamped version of the laptop — again — later this year, but it looks like it may be readying a completely new lineup of high-powered notebooks altogether.
Apple recently filed a worldwide trademark for a term it hasn’t used in ages: “PowerBook.” Originally introduced back in 1991, the PowerBook was billed as the “first supercomputer you can actually take with on on an airplane” and was one of the best laptops on the market before Apple replaced it with the MacBook back in 2006.
So could the PowerBook be making a comeback as Apple’s top-of-the-line notebook offering? Stay tuned.
