45rpm has long been one of the best examples of a Japanese take on Americana and the Tokyo-based label’s Spring/Summer 2017 release is a perfect illustration of what it offers. Here, monochromatic pieces and light, airy fabrics are the name of the game. Throughout, linen is utilized on everything from prototypical button-downs and cropped trousers to unstructured suiting and mandarin-collared popovers. A piped cardigan makes an appearance, too, while florals, a graphic tee, and plaid sports jacket inject a little flair into the range.
