Stone Island‘s Marina line looks to make a comeback for the 2017 spring/summer season with the stripe pattern in mind. The collection is described by the label as, “a meeting point between the sports look and total relaxation.” Lightweight fabrics, ease-of-wear, and functionality are all taken into consideration for those looking to streamline their warm weather or travel essentials.
For the upcoming season, the range focuses on reinterpreting stripes — SI channeled its archives and used new printing techniques as well as spinning and dyeing methods to produce the range. Materials such as quality cotton jerseys, nylon metal, and cotton-nylon blends were used to convey the easiness of the range.
