From equipment choices like cameras and lenses to creative decisions like composition and shooting angle, photographers with different specialties can capture the same subject in myriad manners. Taking that idea and running with it, HYPEBEAST and New Balance linked Chicago-based urban photographer Swopes with Swiss nature shooter David Hubacher to check out the nuances of their styles. With neither having been to the other’s city previously, Swopes and David spent a week exchanging techniques while hiking, climbing, and negotiating their way to some epic shots.

Along the journey, we documented the mashup of new photography spots and new cultural learning while the pair test drove the New Balance 247 Sport. The latest evolution of the 247 is designed with comfort and mobility in mind and the pair tested out exactly that — from the abandoned train tracks in Chicago to the lakes outside of Zurich. Watch the complete video above to see Swopes and Hubacher in action and hear them speak on their experience. Pick up the 247 Sport Pack on the official New Balance web store starting February 4, with a European release to follow on February 11. Then, keep your eyes on HYPEBEAST for the next installment of our City 2 City series, pairing creatives from around the world, next week.
