Emerging fashion heavyweight GmbH is a menswear brand born on the dancefloors of Berlin’s nightlife. Encapsulating the spirit of Berlin and the multiculturalism of the brand’s own backgrounds, German-Turkish designer Serhat Isik and Norwegian-Pakistani artist and photographer Benjamin Alexander Huseby — who’s shot for the likes of DAZED and Prada — create collections that reflect their community and everyday lives, promoting diversity and family-like inclusivity. Stylistically, the brand’s newest collection conveys Berlin’s overlapping spheres of work wear, clubbing wear and sportswear: fine knit wool tops, tight lycra jumpers, velour pullovers, recycled Helly Hansen puffers and finely tailored carpenter pants are effortlessly coordinated into versatile silhouettes and color palettes. Take a look at the GmbH Fall/Winter 2017 collection above and share your thoughts.
