JME lends his talents to the new remix from Bristol grime emcee Grim Sickers. Connecting together for the official remix of “Kane,” JME and Grim Sickers serve up blistering bars for a Mike Skinner-directed visual. Calling today’s drop a “dream come true,” Sickers tells FADER that JME hopped on the new “Kane” rework following a Twitter exchange. Regarding the Mike Skinner contribution to the “Kane” clip, the legendary The Streets artist had nothing but praise for Grim Sickers. “I first heard ‘Kane’ when Grim’s manager played it to me. I played it out at a festival that afternoon, and everyone on stage turned around and made a funny face at me,” Skinner explains to FADER. “I knew then that I’d been given an open goal, with no one around to tackle me. The rest has been history in the making. Grim is a real student of the game, he literally knows everything about grime. It’s very rare.”
