A Closer Look at the Ari Marcopoulos x adidas Skateboarding Limited Edition Capsule
Touting a reversible bomber and an all-black Seeley.
Last week, adidas Skateboarding and acclaimed photographer Ari Marcopoulos took the wraps off their upcoming, limited edition capsule. The collaborative range pays tribute to New York City and consists of outerwear, footwear, and a zine that features snapshots of the Lower East Side rendered in Marcopoulos’ documentary photography aesthetic.
For apparel, the duo offers a reversible bomber jacket—one side boasts a dark blue makeup with metallic gold accents while the other side is embellished with an allover photo print with vibrant imagery culled from the zine. As far as the footwear portion goes, the Three Stripes’s Seeley silhouette gets a deep black color scheme across its leather upper alongside numbered graphics adorned along the rubber midsole.
