Meet the Xperia Touch, An Interactive Projector That Adapts to Any Flat Surface in Your Home
The future for home tech looks bright.
Sony has dropped a product video for its Xperia Touch, an upgrade from the Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector it sprung on us last year. The 32GB device is meant to be used as an interactive screen on a flat wall, table or floor in order to play games, watch video, be a guide while cooking and as a message/reminder board. Featuring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC capabilities, the Xperia Touch runs on Android N and has a 13 megapixel camera and projection reach of about 80 inches. A proximity sensor will wake the device up from sleep mode and in addition to two-way speakers, users will find a Sony SXRD short throw projection unit running the show.
