Anime fans rejoice as some of the most famous faces of the genre are ready to welcome you to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Though there are still three more years until the world’s largest sporting stage returns, some of its ambassadors have already been named. Taking to Facebook’s Official Olympic Channel, the official group — though fictional — are some of Japan’s most beloved pop-cultural exports, including Sailor Moon, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z‘s Goku, Osamu Tezuka‘s Astro Boy and more.

Expect to see all these faces on official merchandise for the Olympics. According to the event’s organizers, the latest ambassadors are to draw attention from younger fans as well as a way for Japan to promote its influence on modern culture. Are you looking forward to the upcoming games? The 2020 Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 24, 2020 and run till August 9, 2020.
