Featuring a Supreme x Louis Vuitton x Air Jordan collaboration and a Marvel superhero-inspired design.

By //Footwear

Not new by any stretch of the imagination, custom shoe creations have been around the sneaker landscape for years with an ever-increasing number of artists continuing to pop up. With the speed and marketability of social media, brand new bespoke designs seemingly flood our feeds on a weekly, if not a daily basis. Integrating various color schemes, patterns, prints and fabrics, let’s take a closer look at some new styles that surfaced on Instagram this past week. We’re hit with everything from a superhero-inspired design, conceptual collaborations and much others.

Sab One Customs Supreme x Nike Special Field Air Force 1 “Desert Camo”

Having recently previewed the heavily-hyped Nike Special Field Air Force 1 “Desert Camo” silhouette, we now take a look at an imaginative rework from Ace of Customs. Further enhancing the hi-top model is the addition of ‘Sup’ branding as well as the bright red Swoosh.

D-Nice Customs LV x Supreme Jordan 3s

D-Nice Customs opts to reinterpret the iconic Air Jordan 3 silhouette through a collaborative branding approach. With a bright spotlight cast upon the recent Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection, it really was only a matter of time before this theme hit the iconic Jordan series.

Malcolm Garret MCM x Nike ACG Kynwood

Custom sneaker artist Malcolm Garret reimagines Nike’s ACG Kynwood silhouette by applying a printed MCM stencil along the upper side panels. Sporting a black and brown colorblock scheme, the imaginative iteration contributes a certain luxe element to the rugged outdoor staple.

Mache AF1 With Camo and Metallic Silver

Fresh off a visit to NBA All-Star Weekend, Mache Custom Kicks went right to work in a new AF1 rendering. The retro classic features a hand painted camo upper with silver paint drips to go along with a matching metallic silver Swoosh.

Fre Customs AF1 Flowerbomb

Having already featured Fre Customs famed Flowerbomb design, the bespoke artists this time select the Air Force 1 Low to work its magic on. This “Triple Black” version of the basketball-inspired sneaker highlights decorative floral embroidery in varying shades of purple.

Warren Lotas BILL Force 1s

In yet another take on the Air Force 1 Low model, Warren Lotas set up shop at VFILES in NYC to give away three pairs of his painted creations. Opting for all-white AF1s, each iteration bears an eerie grim reaper-esque rendering.

Sneaker Freaker Nike SF Air Force 1 With Crepe Sole

Proving once again of the Nike SF Air Force 1s staying power is this artistic number posted by Sneaker Freaker. The hybrid shoe gives way to a half textured leather, half camo-printed upper complete with a crepe sole.

Dank & Co. Adidas NMD x Wolverine

Pairing together the worlds of popular sneaker culture and Marvel superheroes is this Adidas NMD x Wolverine design. Sporting a vibrant yellow upper, hits of blue and red find its way onto the BOOST sole, while black in the form of the character’s mask and claw prints land on the tongue and side panel.
