Vida Bandida Reworks the Honda Tornado into a Cafe Racer
Modifying a trail bike into a road-ready speedster.

Argentinian motorcycle customizers Vida Bandida unveiled a new take on the Honda Tornado. Completely overhauled, the slim trail cycle has been reshaped into a heavy-duty cafe racer.
The original frame was ripped apart and given a new subframe, which allowed for new cafe racer-style traits, like dropped horizontal handlebars and a twin-shock mount system outfitted with retro Harley Davidson pieces, including a fuel tank from the ’60s and ‘883 Sportster’ shocks and headlights. Under the fuel and swingarm sits the battery, snug-in custom casing, aiding the bike’s center of gravity. Behind the “Brat”-inspired seat is a custom brake light, a necessity because the original hardware could fit the new model.
