Nike Keeps the Air Max 1 Wave Riding Strong With Premium "Gradient Toe" Pack
A new take on the beloved classic.

Nike’s Air Max 1 has seen its fair share of makeovers this year, as the classic throwback silhouette celebrates its 30th year in the game. With 2018 just a mere few weeks away, the Swoosh has shown no signs of slowing its progress with more timely renditions on deck. With that, we now take a look at two new premium models, which make up the “Gradient Toe” Pack.
The uppers feature a mix construction comprised of leather, suede, and nylon — one highlighting varying shades of blue, while the other takes on a light grey and black color palette, each though with its own gradient scheme along the toe. Rounding out the design is the Air-centric midsole, which spotlights a decorative speckled detailing. Although release details still have yet to be confirmed, you can expect the Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Gradient Toe” Pack to make its debut sometime next year.
In keeping with Nike, John Elliott & NikeLab are dropping three more Vandals models.
