Helmut Lang Enlists Keizo Kitajima For "Artist Series" Collection

Helmut Lang continues its year long “SEEN BY: THE ARTIST SERIES” endeavor through the inclusion of street photography pioneer, Keizo Kitajima.

Studying under the tutelage of Daido Doriyama, a masterful visual artists in his own right, Keizo developed a style that transcends the title of street photographer. His images, usually black-and-white, provide a privy look into his explorative capturing of the candid raw perspectives of urban life.

Helmut Lang adorns three of his images on long sleeves, T-shirts, pins and posters. Even with translating his work into color, it still holds the same confrontational saturated motifs.

The Keizo Kitajima x Helmut Lang Artist Series capsule launches today at helmutlang.com, ranging from $105 USD to $125 USD for short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, respectively, $35 USD for a poster, and $15 USD for a pin.
