Nike has launched another bid to dominate the sportswear retail landscape of New York City with the announcement of a new 69,000 square-foot megastore at 650 Fifth Avenue at West 52nd Street. The new flagship store will act as leading destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Similar to the SoHo store, Nike’s latest establishment will feature aspects of the Swoosh brand’s digital commerce medium, NikePlus, with the entire fifth floor being restricted to members only. The megastore will also offer customers a bespoke one-on-one Nike Expert shopping experience and the ability to scan and shop with the NikePlus App. The new space is expected to be open to the general public come early 2019.

In other Nike-related news, the Air Max Plus arrives in “Cargo Khaki.”
