Nike’s Air Max 98 has flown somewhat under the radar this year, mostly due to the widespread popularity of its AM97 counterpart. However, 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the silhouette and Nike will be kicking things off with a return of the “Gundam” colorway.

The OG “Gundam” colorway, that sees a silhouette wrapped in a mix of white, blue and red sitting atop a full-length Air Max midsole is likely to be the first of many during the Air Max 98’s celebratory year. One only has to look at the increased output of the Air Max 97 this year to expect 2018 to be similarly productive for the 98. While no official information has been released in regards to the OG “Gundam” iteration, fans can expect it to resurface early next year. Be sure to keep it locked for release date and pricing details.

Keeping with Nike, A$AP Ferg has received Air Force 1 “Trap Lord” customs from BespokeIND.
