Nike Air Max 97 "Obsidian" to Release Early 2018

Nike continues to produce head-turning iterations of the coveted Air Max 97 silhouette for the new year. Hot on the heels of the “Metallic Hematite” option is the latest “Obsidian” colorway to adorn the low-top runner. Shades of dark blue and grey are observed on the uppers with a crisp white midsole to boot. The most striking detail goes to the shoe’s piping which gives off an iridescent glow after some daylight absorption.

Peep the Air Max 97 “Obsidian” above and expect an official release on Nike’s official website and select retailers on January 13, 2018, for approximately $160 USD. Not long ago, the Swoosh embellished the Air Max 97 Ultra in an “Obsidian” makeup. Which model do you favor?
