The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Is Set to Make a Comeback in 2018
Officially relaunching next week.
Nike’s Air Force 1 and Foamposite silhouettes have enjoyed successful 2017 campaigns, each, having dropped in a barrage of bold colorways, material makeovers and imaginative themes. With that said, 2018 will see the reemergence of the often overlooked Air Force 1 Foamposite hybrid. Although around for years, the hoops/lifestyle mashup model has not graced our pages in quite some time, with each of its core models continuing to blaze their own respective trails.
Seen here in a hi-top version, the AF1 base is smothered by the signature hard-shell Foamposite material. A blue-tinged iridescent finish comprises the upper, which teams nicely alongside the contrasting black accents found on the upper quarter panel, laces, ankle strap, and midsole — creating a unique two-toned palette. This new version of the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite will make its debut on January 6 at participating Nike carriers, however, for those looking to cop a pair prior to launch, a handful of pairs are now up for grabs on eBay.
In case you missed it, here is a look at the Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Stash.”
