Dennis McGrath & Carhartt WIP to Launch Tokyo Photo Exhibit
Titled “What’s Up with the Hoods Out in Astoria?”
Iconic photographer and pro skater Dennis McGrath has teamed up with Carhartt WIP to launch an upcoming photo exhibit in Tokyo, Japan. Titled “What’s Up with the Hoods Out in Astoria?,” the showcase will display McGrath’s monochromatic visuals of everyday life in New York City back in the 1990s. More precisely, images of local skaters, graffiti-ridden backdrops, and other candid sequences captured from his perspective are highlighted in the show. Collectively, exclusive merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
“What’s Up with the Hoods Out in Astoria?” is set to launch this December 15 up until the 17th at WAG Gallery.
