EXCLUSIVE: Y-3 Presents Chapter 1 of Its Spring/Summer 2018 Campaign

Y-3 has revealed the first installment of its Spring/Summer 2018 campaign.

The first of three chapters, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas’s latest Spring/Summer 2018 showcase was shot in New York City by photographer Alessio Bolzoni and styled by Mauricio Nardi. With a raw industrial area as its setting, the campaign’s inaugural chapter merges a contrast of energetic poses and eye-catching designs with a starkly gritty backdrop — as Y-3’s statement eloquently puts it, it’s “poetry meets punk.” Most notably, the line’s different outerwear pieces and accessories are emblazoned with the brand’s definitive new graphic motif: a printed combination of the iconic Y-3 logo, Yohji Yamamoto’s signature and the “brand with the 3 stripes” slogan in several languages.

Concerning specific drops, Y-3 will also begin retailing two new footwear silhouettes in the very near future; the Suberou is set to launch on December 2, while the Bashyo is on course to arrive on December 8.
