Steph Curry, Golden State Warriors’ star point guard, is planning to teach an online basketball class as part of his new partnership with MasterClass. The online education site offers classes and pointers from the leaders of a variety of industries and already includes lessons from the likes of chef Gordon Ramsey and actor Steve Martin.
Curry’s class, that will be available in a video series, will focus on the basics of the game, including practice sessions and personal tips from the two-time MVP. The 15-lesson course, that starts in 2018, is aimed at novice to intermediate players and is set to cost $90 USD to enroll. Curry himself said that, “It took me a while to learn how to practice and do the drills the right away. I want people to see how I invest in my game, how I train.” However, while the course will feature segments on ballhandling, shooting techniques and creating offensive, Curry joked, “there is no dunking chapter.”
For all those who want to hit the court early, the class is currently open for pre-enrollment. In other basketball-related news, Russell Westbrook’s first Honor the Gift collection sold out in 24 hours.
