The bond between man and animal is put to the test in the upcoming film Rampage. Based on the ’80s arcade game of the same name, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as primatologist Davis Okoye, who shares a special friendship with George, a rare albino silverback gorilla who has been by his side since birth. Things go severely awry when a genetic experiment goes wrong, leading to the mutation and rapid growth of the friendly ape. As more giant predators get introduced, Okoye joins forces with a questionable genetic engineer to find a cure.

Slated to hit theaters on April 20, 2018, take a look at the first official trailer for Rampage above. If you can’t wait that long however, The Rock and Kevin Hart’s Jumanji will release on December 20.
