Fresh off a “Sample Suede” collaboration with talented artist Michael Lau, PUMA joins forces with mita sneakers and CLUCT for a new take on the Clyde.
Expressing a politically-charged sentiment with the latest Clyde, PUMA, CLUCT and mita take their inspirational cues from past struggles for equality. Specifically, the new PUMA Clyde’s design is motivated by the looks of athletic and training shoes worn by the athletes who took part in the “Black Power salute” that occurred at Mexico City’s 1968 Summer Olympics. Previously, PUMA tapped ’90s nightlife and underground music subcultures for its October “Dress Code” Clyde collaboration with Off The Hook.
