Having spoken to some of the U.K.’s most influential buyers before the season began, the first few weeks of Fall/Winter 2017 have given us the chance to check some of their industry-insider predictions against street style reality. According to Lee Goldup, Menswear Buyer at London’s iconic Browns, Balenciaga and Raf Simons looked set to build on Spring/Summer 2017 success — a tip backed up by the presence of the Raf Simons x adidas Ozweego and the much-debated Triple-S from Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga on the streets of London.

Elsewhere, Supreme and Off-White™ saw no signs of falling from shoppers’ good graces, with the Industrial Belt and sneakers from the first instalment of “The Ten” proving popular from Virgil Abloh‘s brand. Love for London’s own Palace also remains perennial, whilst an array of items from Louis Vuitton and cult Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD also made appearances.

Take a look at the gallery above to peep the first London Fall/Winter 2017 street style highlights. In other news from the U.K., take a look inside Palace’s new MWADLANDS skatepark.
