The Nike First Sight Shadow is getting a new navy colorway for Fall/Winter 2026, reportedly called “Gridiron.” The pair follows the model’s earlier releases in the women’s-exclusive First Sight line and uses one dominant tone to put the focus on the silhouette’s sculpted construction.
The shell is where the design starts. The First Sight Shadow’s upper is a single molded piece with a seamless, sculpted finish that recalls Nike’s Foamposite. Here it is coated almost entirely in navy, so the eye goes to the contours rather than to any color blocking.
What little contrast there is sits in the details. Small black Swooshes are placed near the toe instead of in the usual midfoot spot. The raised ovals along each side open up to show Metallic Silver underneath. With the rest of the shell kept dark, those silver hits become the shoe’s standout feature.
Underneath the shell, a black nylon bootie forms the interior and rises into a V shape at the collar, giving the shoe a sock-like entry. The same black carries down to the outsole, framing the navy upper top and bottom.
