Japan’s monkey time and London’s clothsurgeon join forces for this year’s second collaborative drop. Encompassing a trio of outerwear items, the release aims to revise menswear staples with high-end construction and progressive designs.
Featuring a paneled bomber jacket and two shearling jackets, clothsurgeon’s technical prowess meshes with monkey time’s youthful inclinations. A brown shearling draw inspiration from the B-2 flight jacket, reimagining the militaristic piece in lux sheepskin, belt included. Mouton serves as the base of the black shearling as well, which takes cues from biker jackets. Both items feature extended leather pulls and silver metal hardware, but the contrasting fur of the brown piece is eschewed by the biker-inspired jacket for a monochrome look. Meanwhile, the bomber jacket offers an understated facade, with the rear displaying panels of contrasting plaid and fleece, and the oversized leather pull appears on the sleeve pocket.
