NEEDLES and BEAMS Debut Collaborative Vans & Capsule
Mismatched slip-ons and layering pieces.

Japanese fashion staples NEEDLES and BEAMS have joined up for a collaborative capsule. The range includes an array of reworked NEPENTHES staples and cold-weather gear.
NEEDLES’ famed tracksuit reappears for the drop, crafted from black jersey and detailed with purple stripes. A pair of matching pants is on hand, with both items boasting a new NEEDLES logo, with a small skateboarding “N.” The skateboarding motif carries over to a white long-sleeve shirt, which also features the reworked logo. The stars of the drop are a pair of black Vans Classic Slip-Ons, which NEPENTHES has applied its butterfly motif to all over the shoes, in two colors. On the rear of the shoes is the skateboarding “N,” each in a different color to contrast with the Vans tag on the heel.
The slip-ons are priced at ¥13,000 JPY (approximately $115 USD), while the clothing ranges from ¥7,500 JPY to ¥29,000 JPY (approximately $65 USD to $255 USD). Look for the drop to arrive on BEAMS’ webstore on November 3. Check out intelligence Magazine’s “COLORS” editorial for more from the NEPENTHES family member.
