Chanel's colette Takeover, a Closer Look Inside
A love letter from Karl Lagerfeld.
Chanel‘s highly-anticipated takeover of Paris-based colette is now underway. Of course, the Pharrell-conceived Hu NMD now has a release date set during the installation, but the store also hosts a variety of exclusive merchandise.
Alongside Fall/Winter 2017 bags, outerwear and shoes, the store features a range of Karl Lagerfeld designs — limited-edition T-shirts, a wall of portraits and even a dining area outfitted in Chanel logos. colette’s facade sports LED signs of Lagerfeld’s colette drawing, as well as new window displays. Inside, the store is shrouded in white cloth, placing the focus entirely on the goods and the pristine layout.
The pop-up will run until November 25, with the sneakers debuting only days before the conclusion on November 21. In the meantime, Chanel has teased its pricey, diamond-encrusted CODE COCO watch.
