AK- 69 and atmos Collaborate on Limited-Edition Timberland 6-Inch Boots
A clean take on the icon.
Japan’s atmos is linking up with Japanese rapper AK-69 for a customized pair of Timberland 6” Boots. AK-69 last collaborated with atmos on a pair of Ewing Athletics sneakers in 2016; this time, Timberland’s classic shoe is draped in black leather and boasts exclusive detailing.
Limited to only 100 pairs, the footwear commemorates AK-69’s nearly year-old album, DAWN. The “DAWN in BUDOKAN” features a custom hangtag from atmos, a tonal black leather upper and rubber lug sole, and one of two Japanese Kanji characters embroidered on the rear tab of each boot: “夜” and “明” which together translate to “dawn.”
Look for the drop on atmos’ webstore on October 20 for ￥30,000 JPY (approximately $265 USD). This month has seen a large selection of atmos collaborations, with a set of Columbia jackets announced for Fall/Winter 2017, and a bevy of releases unveiled for the recent New York Comic Con.
