adidas Consortium and XHIBITION Team up to Take on Rugged Terrain
Winter-ready technical footwear.
After revealing a collaboration with Singapore’s Limited Edt, adidas Consortium has now unveiled another joint project, this time with Cleveland-based retailer XHIBITION. For this release, the two brands have worked on the Terrex Trailfinder silhouette, taking inspiration from the heavy snowfall and cold conditions of Cleveland’s tough winters.
To design the shoe, XHIBITION imagined the wearer being lost in the mountains of Appalachian Ohio and aimed to make a shoe that was good enough to survive the wilderness. The sneaker’s upper comes in gray boiled wool and black leather overlays, which are contrasted with bright pink laces. Other features include include a sportswear-inspired strap for ankle stability, a hardwearing sole and a partially exposed BOOST midsole.
The adidas Consortium x XHIBITION Terrex Tracefinder is set to release at XHIBITION and other select retailers such as END. on October 28 for approximately $280 USD. Check out some more technical footwear from adidas Consortium, with the new colorways of the A//D sneakers.
