Limited Edt Reunites with adidas Consortium for Ornate Superstar 80
Coming in “Burnished Burgundy.”

Having last collaborated back in 2015, Singapore-based retailer Limited Edt has once again worked with adidas Consortium on a Superstar 80 release. Taking inspiration from smoking jackets and gentleman’s clubs — the same references as Limited Edt newly kitted out store — the two brands have come up with an ornate new take on the iconic silhouette.
The sneaker comes in a “Burnished Burgundy” colorway, while the classic adidas three stripes have been removed from the sneaker. In place of the stripes is the Superstar’s stand out feature: a bold floral embroidery that has been died in green, red, gold and blue using traditional South-East Asian techniques. Other details include both Limited Edt and adidas branding on the tongues, as well as a distressed-leather effect shell toe.
The “Burnished Burgundy” Superstar 80 is set to drop on October 28, and will be available from Limited Edt and other select retailers including the END. web store. As well as collaborating with Limited Edt, adidas Consortium has also recently updated its high-tech A//D sneakers.
