Live Like a Rockstar in Keith Richards's Greenwich Village Penthouse

Peep the rock star’s home.

By //Design

Keith Richards, the legendary guitarist of The Rolling Stones, has listed his prestigious Greenwich Village penthouse for sale. This luxurious duplex, situated in one of the most sought-after cooperatives in NYC, overlooks Fifth Avenue and Washington Square Park. The condo is kitted out with three bedrooms and a home office (or fourth bedroom), with the master bedroom equipped with walk-in closets and an exuberant en-suite armed with steam shower and tub. There are also, of course, three private terraces from which you can enjoy the stunning views and some al-fresco dining.

The space was renovated and reimagined by Joe Serrins, back in 2011, in a meticulous contemporary design. The primary living area, which is a whopping 47 feet long, makes up the entire main floor and incorporates both the dining and living space in an open floor plan. A feature staircase, that is decorated with a leather-wrapped bronze handrail, gives the main floor a stylish finish.

This is truly a one-of-kind property and the fact it was owned by Richards himself adds a nice dash of rock ‘n’ roll. So if you’re willing to part with a cool $12 million USD then that rockstar lifestyle you’ve always envisaged could soon be yours.

In other design news, Onnit has released some hefty Star Wars gym gear.
