Ice Cube Is Back in the Latest 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' Spot

When 2005’s xXx followup, State of the Union, hit theaters, original xXx protagonist Xander Cage was nowhere to be found after he was supposedly killed in Bora Bora (though he had originally signed on for the sequel, Vin Diesel had to drop out of the film due to scheduling conflicts with his Disney action comedy The Pacifier.) Darius Stone (Ice Cube) filled Cage’s shoes as the new xXx agent, but was nowhere to be found in the initial Return of Xander Cage trailer. Fear not, though, Cube fans: the N.W.A. icon is indeed back for the latest xXx installment and shows up with a band in the film’s new TV spot.

See Cube in action above and look for Return of Xander Cage and its over-the-top action sequences to hit the big screen on January 20.
