FIFA Names the FIFPro World11 of 2016
Football’s dream team.
The shortlist for the FIFA FIFPro World11 2016 was announced back in early December of 2016 and tonight in Zurich during The Best FIFA Football awards, the dream team of 2016 has been named. What makes the FIFA FIFPro World11 so special is that it is decided by the players for the players. With more than 25,000 professional players from around the world, each player nominates their top goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards. Though the results were reportedly leaked last week, check out the final results below:
Goalkeeper – Manuel Neuer
Defenders – Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo
Midfielders – Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Andres Iniesta
Strikers – Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo
