Brandblack Links Up with NFL Star DeSean Jackson to Release the "DJX-1" Sneaker
Along with a campaign shot by LA photographer Estevan Oriol.
Having hit the field in custom Brandblack cleats for the past year, NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson has broadened the scope of his relationship with the athletic brand to launch a pair of trainers inspired by his athleticism and feats on the field. Dubbed “DJX-1”, the new sneaker is both stylistically and technologically advanced — designed to be incredibly lightweight and responsive with a visually appealing avant-garde silhouette. Constructed from molded urethane with a sock-like upper and Brandblack’s own proprietary jet-Lon midsole, which offers 20% more rebound than EVA, the DJX-1 offers a complete performance package. On the looks front, a split sole creates a futuristic shape and geometric and linear accents with a lack of visible stitching amplify the aesthetic.
