'Tekken 7' Is Finally Headed to Consoles Early Next Year
Our best look yet at the home version of the renowned fighter.
Tekken 7 may have hit Japanese arcades way back in March of 2015, but fans of the renowned fighting series have been left out in the cold when it comes to a console version of its latest installment — until now. More than two years after its initial debut, Tekken 7 is finally headed to consoles early next year and, to celebrate, Bandai Namco has unleashed a new trailer for the game. Fans can expect everyone from Jin Kazama and Hwoarang to King and Yoshimitsu to return while a lengthy cast of newcomers pushes the number of playable characters all the way up to 32. Better yet, the game’s use of Unreal Engine 4 means it’s not only the best looking Tekken of all-time, but one of the most gorgeous fighters to date.
Tekken 7 is currently on track to hit the likes of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PCs in the first or second quarter of 2017.
