John Varvatos Taps Motor City for Latest Chuck Taylor All Star II

John Varvatos drew inspiration from his hometown of Detroit to conjure this sleek new version of the Chuck Taylor All Star II that boasts two distinctive colorways, black and white. Once again teaming up with Converse, the contemporary menswear designer continues to embed his passion for rock ‘n’ roll in this model that is swathed with coated leather and topped off with a crackled finish. Each pair is also equipped with a Nike Lunarlon insole for a snug, plush fit while perforated microsuede and fabric lining give a bit of robustness. Finally, a translucent rubber outsole provides unparalleled traction.
Both black and white versions are currently available online now at Nike.com and are retailing for approximately $143 USD.
