Robert Williams' Psychedelic Illustrations Decorate the Next Vans Vault Collection
The celebrated artist collaborates with Vans once again.
Cartoon caricatures and pop-art illustrations decorate the upcoming Vans Vault collection with celebrated artist Robert Williams – a successor of sorts to their 2009 collab). The JUXTAPOZ Art & Culture magazine founder brings his psychedelic artwork to new editions of the Slip-On 98 Reissue, Authentic 44 Reissue and Sk8-Hi 38 Decon LX. Embellished with Kachina Club and cheeseburger motifs, the sneakers’ canvas and leather uppers are contrasted with clean white soles that feature Williams’ signature tagged along the sides. Transparent waffle outsoles reveal further illustrations on the bottoms.
These Robert Williams x Vans Vault sneakers are now available at BILLY’S in Tokyo, but keep an eye out for them to hit global Vans Vault retailers July 23.
