The New Nike KD 9 Colorways Will Usher in a New Chapter in Kevin Durant's Career
It’s only the beginning for Durant’s ninth signature shoe.
Kevin Durant will be opening a new chapter in his career with the Golden State Warriors this upcoming season and his ninth signature shoe will follow suit. The Nike KD 9 has already made the transition from OKC to GSW with new colorways available via NikeiD. The Swoosh adds another preview of what’s to come for Durant’s most advanced shoe to date with the upcoming “Birds of Paradise” and “Unlimited” editions. As part of a weeklong world tour with Nike, Durant will visit locations in Greater China such as Hong Kong, Taipei and Guangzhou to hold clinics alongside fans and athletes.
Both colorways will hosts a variety of tones on the silhouettes’ Flyknit canvas — the “Birds of Paradise” is comprised of teal, black and green, while the “Unlimited” edition mixes black, volt and pink throughout. Fans can expect the “Birds of Paradise” to release on August 19 and the “Unlimited” to drop on August 4.
