adidas Originals Gives its Rod Laver the 24K Gold Treatment
All gold in.

It’s only been about a month since adidas Originals resurrected the Rod Laver silhouette, however it’s next to get the 24K gold leaf treatment following the Stan Smith as part of the 999 Noble Metals Pack. The brand has tapped a renowned “gold-beating” manufacturer, Eytzinger, based in Schwabach, Germany. One-hundred sixty-seven years of craftsmanship come together with the classic ’70s tennis shoes, for an ultra luxe edge to the otherwise minimal shoe. The gold leafing can be seen in the branding across the tongue and heel tab. Have a look at the photos above for a closer look and catch the sneaker at select stockists this July 15.
