Diet Butcher Slim Skin 2016 Fall/Winter Collection Is Inspired by a Tom Waits Song

Tokyo-based label Diet Butcher Slim Skin just revealed its latest 2016 fall/winter collection. Always drawing references from the arts and music, the newest range gets its inspiration from a Tom Waits song entitled, “Chocolate Jesus.” The ballad carries a theme of religion in America and the design house interprets this through a collection of contemporary designs — the floppy hats, denim pieces, and a few of the velvet jackets add to its old western flair, while the bombers, leather outerwear pieces and printed tops give it a bit of rebellious edge.
