Lyft Is Offering Free Rides in 'Ghostbusters' Ecto-1

In an effort to promote the upcoming Ghostbusters movie, Lyft will be offering free trips in the film’s Ecto-1 Cadillac. Folks can hop inside the gussied-up 1982 wagon by opening the app and selecting Ghost Mode when requesting a vehicle. Lyft will also be stocking the car with Twinkies and Hi-C Ecto Cooler — the relaunched, green citrus juice, which made its debut in 1987.
Those who will currently be in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Washington from July 1-2, can request rides between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time. Ghostbusters is slated to hit theaters on July 15.
