Sasquatchfabrix. Continues to Balance Modernity and Tradition in Its 2016 Fall/Winter Lookbook
They also put some new inventive twists on the kimono.
Sasquatchfabrix. has been making some power moves as of late: recently, they’ve released an exclusive capsule collection for BEAMS, collaborated with Supreme, and even helped MR PORTER curate a small lineup of goods from some up-and-coming Japanese brands. Now that the dust has settled a bit from these partnerships, Sasquatchfabrix. presents to us what we can expect from its 2016 fall/winter collection in this new lookbook.
The Japanese label headed by Daisuke Yokoyama has perfected the art of mixing modern and tradition. We see this combination in its inventive reinterpretations of kimonos. Expect to see these silhouettes take on some military inspirations for the season. Other notable pieces from the fall range are the slick bomber jackets, padded trousers and long draped coats. As for more collaborations in the fall/winter, we’ll just have to wait and see what the brand will be cooking up, so stay tuned just in case we hear about any developments.
