The New Balance 009 Is an Evolutionary Hybrid

New Balance’s 900 Series has inspired a brand new silhouette. The upcoming New Balance 009 walks the fine line between sport and luxury as it caters to those who appreciate the Boston-based brand’s heritage while striving for new innovation. Throughout the 009 you’ll find elements from New Balance’s previous models, such as the 997, 998 and 999, that help it become the contemporary piece of footwear it needs to be.
Its comfort is found in a special pressure mapping technology which results in a dual density midsole that provides a plush ride without compromising its overall aesthetic. In addition, you’ll also find a neoprene foam package along the collar for ankle support and a one-to-one fit. Its collapsible heel makes it possible for easy entry and will be presented in three colorways with peppered suede, a leather “N” logo and a gum sole.
The 009 silhouette is a result of New Balance’s evolution and will be available staring on July 1 via New Balance’s site for a retail price of approximately $110 USD.
