Theophilus London Debuts New Song With Tame Impala, “Whiplash”
Debuted last night at Boiler Room in Brooklyn.
It was a bit surprising when Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky both sampled Tame Impala’s “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards”, so it wasn’t farfetched when the band’s Kevin Parker started getting into hip-hop production. Theophilus London, who was on hand for the Virgil Abloh-curated Boiler Room event in Brooklyn last night, debuted his new song “Whiplash” that is produced by the Tame Impala. It’s not the official drop but a fan did manage to capture a high quality live stream. Listen and watch above.
