Études Studio's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Redefines Street Chic
From sophisticated cuts to apocalyptic-esque outerwear designs.

Études Studio‘s 2017 spring/summer collection subversively plays on polarizing subjects — there’s a sense of raw elegance in the range that’s interspersed with apocalyptic themes. We see harmony in the fluidity of its silhouettes, from the trousers, knits, tops and outerwear. Some are embroidered with flower motifs to expand on this subject of peace and utopia. On the opposite side however, we get a sense of dystopia in the oversized trenches, belted jackets, graffiti-printed tops, and the metallic foil-like ponchos. All these pieces echo the apocalypse, or at least the preparation for one. As a whole the collection works within the current trends coming out for this season — oversizing is intelligently used here with softer fabrics to cater to the warmer seasons. Standouts also include the creative tailoring in the asymmetry on some of the designs.
