Nike Brings Color Changing Technology to the Iconic Air Max 1
Change the colorway whenever you feel like it.

Nike builds on its color-changing offering with a hard-to-miss Air Max 1 release. While its not the Swoosh’s first foray into the world of tone-transforming kicks, the brand is now thinking of how to incorporate simplicity into the technology — previous iterations were made from perforated, iridescent materials. A timeless icon in the brand’s lineup, this Air Max 1 CX is made from white mesh, grey suede and deceptively off-white synthetic panels at the toe, heel wrap and Swoosh that, when exposed to the sun and other UV lights, will turn to blue. The result is less vivid than the iridescent models, with a more subtle style for everyday wear.
The Air Max 1 CX will be released on Friday, June 17 and will reportedly be only available at Nike’s online shop.
