The Kidrobot Movie Has Found Its Director
Details on the project are still scarce, however.

Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s film adaptation of designer toy brand Kidrobot is one step closer to fruition: the film has found its director in Robert Rugan; screenwriters Matt Ember and Tom Astle (Home and Epic) wrote the script, while Scott Aversano of The Last Airbender is handling production. Rugan’s past work includes spots for Visa, IFC, HBO and Durex. He also directed the upcoming films Genies and Disney’s Chip ‘n’ Dale.
Plot details about the Kidrobot project are scarce — it is said to be a live-action film centered on robots, though. No surprise there.
Stay tuned for more info on the project as it develops.
