#OnFeet at Sydney Nike Air Max Lab 2016
Vintage and rare sneakers appear in honor of Air Max Day.
With events from New York to Hong Kong, this year’s Air Max Day proved to be an unforgettable celebration for sneaker afficionados around the world. To highlight the shoe’s influence throughout the years in Australia, Nike opened a pop-up shop in the Surry Hills area of Sydney featuring a collection of rare Air Max models curated by a group of local collectors known as the “Masters of Air.” In the photos above, we see event-goers from the country’s first Air Max Con showing off highly covetable sneakers from the past and present, including the Patta Air Max 1 ChlorophyLL, the atmos Air Max 1 “Elephant,” and “Safari” in addition to Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Air Max LD-Zero H. Scroll through the photos above and visit the Sydney Air Max Lab page for more information on the space.
